My research focuses on investigating various model organisms such as the fruit fly and mouse,
using a range of techniques. My primary goal is to enhance our understanding of how to
ameliorate sleep quality in the aging process, consequently reducing the risk of developing
Alzheimer’s disease. This endeavor involves continuous refinementänd establishment of novel
behavioral assays at the lnstitute of Molecular Biosciences, specifically tailored to the study of
sleep. I firmly believe that through robust networking within Styria, we can leverage each other’s
expertise and collectively advance in addressing complex scientific queries.
