As a trained neurobiologist, I bridge applied fundamental research in neurobiology with the needs of neurosurgery. I collaborate with colleagues in neurosurgery, other departments and industrial partners to develop ideas and research projects for direct application in the operating room. I coordinate, oversee, and implement the research activities of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Medical University of Graz.
